tcpdump-print80211c-bo (32749) The risk level is classified as HighHigh Risk

Description:

tcpdump is vulnerable to an off-by-one buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the parse_elements() in print-802_11.c. By sending a specially-crafted 802.11 frame, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
