| netmail-webadmin-bo (32861) |
Description:
Novell NetMail is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the sprintf function in the webadmin.exe process. By sending a specially-crafted authentication request with an overly long username to TCP port 89, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
