Description:

The PHP PECL zip Extension is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by "zip:" URLs. By sending an overly long string to the "zip:" URL wrapper, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
