Apple Mac OS X ImageIO code execution

macos-imageio-code-execution (32974) The risk level is classified as HighHigh Risk

Description:

Apple Mac OS X could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a memory corruption vulnerability in ImageIO when viewing a malicious RAW image. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause a victim's application to crash or possibly execute arbitrary code on the victim's system, if the attacker could convince the victim to open a specially-crafted RAW image.
