Description:
CA Brightstor ARCserve Backup could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system or cause a denial of service, caused by an error in the Tape Engine. By sending a specially-crafted RPC argument, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to corrupt system memory and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause a denial of service.
