PHP interbase extension buffer overflow
| php-interbase-extension-bo (33019) |
Description:
PHP is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the isc_attach_database() function. By sending an overly long string argument to the ibase_connect() or the ibase_pconnect() functions, a local attacker could overflow a buffer and bypass security restrictions to execute arbitrary code on the system, if the PHP interbase extension is enabled.
