Multiple VMware products DHCP server malformed packet code execution
| dhcp-malformed-packet-bo (33101) |
Description:
VMware Player, Workstation, Server, and ACE could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by improper handling of malformed packets by the built-in Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a malformed packet to the DHCP server to corrupt stack memory and execute arbitrary code on the system.
