Mozilla Firefox nsFtpState::R_pasv() information disclosure
| firefox-nsftpstate-information-disclosure (33119) |
Description:
Mozilla Firefox could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by an error in the nsFtpState::R_pasv function. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by creating a specially-crafted Web page on a malicious FTP server to bypass firewall security restrictions, scan ports, obtain sensitive information, and possibly cause the victim's browser to crash, if the attacker could persuade the victim to connect to the malicious FTP server.
Note: KDE Konqueror and Opera are also affected by this vulnerability.
