OpenAFS setuid command privilege escalation
| openafs-setuid-privilege-escalation (33180) |
Description:
OpenAFS could allow an authenticated remote attacker with knowledge of client cache contents to gain elevated privileges, caused by improper session authentication. If setuid is enabled, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially-crafted FetchStatus reply with a setuid command to execute arbitrary code on the system with root privileges.
