Qt UTF-8 cross-site scripting
| qt-utf8-xss (33397) |
Description:
Qt could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions and perform cross-site scripting attacks, caused by the improper handling of the UTF-8 decoder. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using overly long UTF-8 character sequences to execute arbitrary script in a victim's browser within the security context of the affected Web site, allowing the attacker to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.
