Description:
man-db is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking. By sending specially-crafted arguments to the -H flag, a local attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with ROOT privileges, if the man and man-db programs have been installed setuid.
