Description:
Akamai Download Manager ActiveX control is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the Download Manager ActiveX control. By persuading a victim to visit a malicious Web site that passes malformed data to the vulnerable ActiveX control, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with the victim's privileges.
