Asterisk SIP response packets denial of service

Description:
Asterisk is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by the improper handling of SIP response packets by the SIP channel driver. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted SIP response packet to the channel driver to cause a segmentation fault, resulting in a denial of service.
