Trillian IRC font face buffer overflow
| trillian-fontface-bo (33986) |
Description:
Trillian is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the IRC module. By sending a specially-crafted message containing an overly long UTF-8 encoded font face attribute, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
