Description:
AtomixMP3 is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking of MP3 file names. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted MP3 file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by hosting the malicious file on a Web site or sending the file as an email attachment.
