Samba lsa_io_trans_names buffer overflow

samba-lsaiotransnames-bo (34316) The risk level is classified as HighHigh Risk

Description:

Samba is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the lsa_io_trans_names function. By sending a specially-crafted RPC request to the LSA RPC interface, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
