GD Graphics Library gdPngReadData denial of service
| gd-gdpngreaddata-dos (34420) |
Description:
The GD Graphics Library is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a vulnerability in the gdPngReadData function. By creating a specially-crafted PNG image file, a remote attacker could cause the application to enter an infinite loop, resulting in a denial of service, if the attacker could persuade the victim to view the malicious file with an application linked to the vulnerable library.
