Description:

The GD Graphics Library is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a vulnerability in the gdPngReadData function. By creating a specially-crafted PNG image file, a remote attacker could cause the application to enter an infinite loop, resulting in a denial of service, if the attacker could persuade the victim to view the malicious file with an application linked to the vulnerable library.

Upgrade to the latest version of GD Graphics Library (2.0.35RC4 or later), available from the GD Graphics Library Web site. See References.
