Multiple vendors 3rd party cryptographic library ASN.1 denial of service
| multiple-crypto-asn1-dos (34430) |
Description:
Multiple vendors including Cisco devices running IOS and Novell are vulnerable to a denial of service attack caused by improper parsing of abstract Syntax Notation One (ASN.1) objects by a 3rd party cryptographic library. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the device to stop responding.
