Multiple F-Secure LZH buffer overflow
| fsecure-lzh-bo (34575) |
Description:
Multiple F-Secure Anti-Virus products are vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking when scanning LHA (LZH) archive files. By creating a specially-crafted LZH file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash, if the attacker could persuade the victim to scan the malicious file.
