Mozilla Firefox and SeaMonkey document.cookie denial of service
| mozilla-doccookie-dos (34613) |
Description:
Mozilla Firefox and SeaMonkey are vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by improper validation of JavaScript cookies created through the document.cookie object. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by creating a specially-crafted Web page containing an overly long or malicious cookie path or name value to cause the browser to hang, if the attacker could persuade the victim to open the malicious Web page.
