GNU findutils old-format locate database filename buffer overflow

Description:
GNU findutils is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking when locating old-format locate database files. By searching for a specially-crafted file with an overly long filename from an old-format locate database, an authenticated remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with elevated privileges.

Remedy:
