Description:
Outpost Firewall PRO is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by improper restrictions on the outpost_ipc_hdr object. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the system to stop responding.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Outpost Firewall PRO (2008 6.0.2162.205.402.266 or later), available from the Outpost Firewall PRO Web site. See References.
