Description:

IBM Websphere Application Server could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by improper authorization on a remote interface to the SDO repository by the Default Messaging Component. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to bypass security restrictions and gain unauthorized access to the vulnerable system.

  • IBM, WebSphere Application Server 6.1.0.7 and prior

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version of IBM WebSphere Application Server (Fix Pack 9 (6.1.0.9) or later), available from the IBM Support & downloads Web site. See References.
