GNOME Evolution-Data-Server imap_rescan() code execution
| gnome-imaprescan-code-execution (34964) |
Description:
GNOME Evolution-Data-Server could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by improper validation of the "SEQUENCE" value by the imap_rescan() function. By persuading a victim to connect to a specially-crafted IMAP server, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code or cause the application to crash.
