BitchX hook.c command execution

Description:
BitchX could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system, caused by the use of the hook.c file. By sending a specially-crafted request, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary commands on the system.

Remedy:
No remedy available as of April 25, 2009.
Slackware BitchX is no longer available. The vendor recommends removal of this product and the installation of another console IRC client. See References.
