Description:
Ingres Database Server, which is included in multiple CA (Computer Associates) products, could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a pointer overwrite vulnerability in the QUinsert function. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using unspecified attack vectors to execute arbitrary code on the system with privileges of the database server.
