MIT Kerberos administration daemon (kadmind) gssrpc__svcauth_unix() buffer overflow
| kerberos-gssrpcsvcauthunix-bo (35085) |
Description:
The MIT Kerberos administration daemon (kadmind) is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by an integer conversion error in the gssrpc__svcauth_unix() function. By sending a specially-crafted RPC request, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with root privileges or cause the daemon to crash.
