Description:
Sun Solaris is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the dtsession(1X) Common Desktop Environment (CDE) Session Manager. By sending a specially-crafted request, a local attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with root privileges.
