Microsoft Windows Active Directory LDAP attribute buffer overflow
| ms-ldap-attribute-bo (35179) |
Description:
Microsoft Windows Active Directory is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking of LDAP requests by the LDAP service. By sending a specially-crafted LDAP request containing a larger than expected number of convertible attributes, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the server to crash.
