Hitachi JP1/HiCommand Expect: header cross-site scripting
| hitachi-hicommand-expectheader-xss (35286) |
Description:
The Hitachi JP1/HiCommand series is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using the Expect header in the JP1/HiCommand Suite Common Component Web server in a specially-crafted message to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, once the message is opened. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.
