Description:
Symantec AntiVirus could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by a vulnerability in the RTVScan component. By creating a specially-crafted threat notification window, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges, once a threat detection opens the malicious window.
