multiple-progress-server-bo (35385) The risk level is classified as HighHigh Risk

Description:

Progress Database server, which is included in multiple vendor products, is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the Progress server (_mprosrv.exe) component. By sending a specially-crafted request to TCP port 5520 or 5530, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with SYSTEM privileges.
