Description:

The FreeBSD libarchive library is vulnerable to a denial of service. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted archive file with a malicious pax extension header, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the application to enter into an infinite loop, resulting in a denial of service.
