Description:
Microsoft Internet Explorer is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a vulnerability that can occur when resolving domain names in different Internet Explorer "Zones". By persuading a victim to visit a malicious Web page that uses JavaScript to fill "Zones" with arbitrary domain names containing certain metacharacters, a remote attacker could consume an excessive amount of CPU resources the next time Internet Explorer is launched.
