Novell Client NWSPOOL.DLL buffer overflow
| novell-client-nwspool-bo (35824) |
Description:
Novell Client is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the nwspool.dll library. By sending specially-crafted RPC requests to the RpcAddPrinterDriver and RpcGetPrinterDriverDirectory functions, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the system to crash.
