Konqueror data: URI spoofing
| konqueror-data-spoofing (35829) |
Description:
Konqueror could allow a remote attacker to spoof the address bar, caused by the improper handling of "data:" URI's. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web page using username or password parameters that contain whitespace, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to spoof the address bar or conduct phishing attacks.
Note: Successful exploitation requires that the victim is using Konqueror with the "data:" URI patch installed on the system.
