Serendipity Extended properties for entries plugin security bypass

Description:
Serendipity could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by a vulnerability in the Extended properties for entries plugin. If the plugin is enabled, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially-crafted HTTP request containing malicious entryproperties settings to bypass password protection security restrictions.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Serendipity (1.1.4 or 1.2-beta5 or later), available from the Serendipity Web site. See References.
