Description:
Motive Communications ActiveUtils is vulnerable to multiple stack-based buffer overflows, caused by improper bounds checking by the ActiveEmailTest.EmailData ActiveX control. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web page, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with the victim's privileges or cause the browser to crash.
