IBM DB2 execs privilege escalation
| db2-execs-privilege-escalation (36062) |
Description:
IBM DB2 could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges, caused by multiple vulnerabilities with untrusted search paths when the exec command is used on executables and is running with root privileges. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain root privileges on the system.
Platforms Affected:
- IBM, DB2 Universal Database 8.1 FP13
