IBM DB2 file creation privilege escalation
| db2-multiple-file-create (36104) |
Description:
IBM DB2 could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by multiple vulnerabilities related to the insecure creation of files by DB2. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability using unknown attack vectors possibly involving the OSSEMEMDBG or TRC_LOG_FILE environment variables to create arbitrary files with elevated privileges.
