EMC Networker nsrexecd.exe buffer overflow
| networker-nsrexecd-bo (36123) |
Description:
EMC Networker is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the Networker Remote Exec Service (nsrexecd.exe). By sending an overly long invalid subcmd to a poll or a specially-crafted kill request, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
