Asterisk SIP channel driver dialog history denial of service
| asterisk-sip-dialoghistory-dos (36145) |
Description:
Asterisk is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by the SIP Channel Driver (chan_sip) dialog history recording each history item whether it is enabled or not. By creating a SIP dialog that records an unlimited amount of entries, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to consume all available resources, resulting in a denial of service.
