ClamAV and Kolab Server cli_html_normalise() denial of service
| clamav-clihtmlnormalise-dos (36177) |
Description:
Clam AntiVirus (ClamAV) and Kolab Server are vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a NULL pointer dereference in the libclamav/htmlnorm.c file's cli_html_normalise function. By persuading a victim to scan a specially-crafted HTML file containing a malicious data URL, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause a denial of service.
