PRISM Guard Shield Asura engine buffer overflow
| prism-guard-asura-engine-bo (36221) |
Description:
PRISM Guard Shield is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the Asura engine when processing network packets. By sending a specially-crafted packet with a data id of 0xF007 to UDP port 3658, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
Note: This vulnerability also affects Rogue Trooper.
