Asterisk MIME body denial of service
| asterisk-mime-body-dos (36261) |
Description:
Asterisk is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by the improper handling of emails with a malformed MIME body when the IMAP backend for the voicemail feature is used. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted email containing a MIME body and listen to their voicemail, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to crash the service.
