Description:

Cisco Video Surveillance IP Gateway video encoder and decoder, Services Platform (SP), and Integrated Services Platform (ISP) devices could allow a remote attacker on the adjacent network to gain elevated privileges, caused by improper authentication by the telnet server. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain administrative privileges on the device.

Platforms Affected:

  • Cisco, Video Surveillance IP Gateway Encoder Decoder 1.8.1 and prior
  • Cisco, Video Surveillance SP ISP 1.11.0 and prior
  • Cisco, Video Surveillance SP ISP 1.23.7 and prior
