Sophos Anti-Virus multiple archive security bypass

Description:
Sophos Anti-Virus could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by a vulnerability when viewing specially-crafted CAB, LZH, or RAR archive files with a malicious header. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted archive file, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to bypass scan protection.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Sophos Anti-Virus (2.49.0 or later), available from the Sophos Web site. See References.
