Quagga bgpd denial of service

quagga-bgpd-dos (36551) The risk level is classified as LowLow Risk

Description:

Quagga is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by the improper handling of messages and attributes by the bgpd daemon. If the debugging of BGP updates is enabled, a remote authenticated attacker could send a specially-crafted "OPEN" message or "COMMUNITY" attribute, to cause the server to crash.
