Description:

Invision Power Board (IP.Board) could allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to the system. If the subscription manager is enabled, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially-crafted payment request with a malicious member ID to demote arbitrary members to the subscriber group.

Upgrade to the latest version of Invision Power Board (2.3.1 after 9/12/2007 or later), available from the Invision Power Board Web site. See References.
