Description:
inotify-tools is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the inotifytools_snprintf() function. By sending an overly long filename, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with privileges of the application using the library or cause the application to crash.
